For the past half century anthroplogist Eric Crystal has been documenting traditional Southeast Asian culture. His work has taken him from the mountains of Sulawesi island, Indonesia to isolated
Vietnamese minority village fast upon the Chinese border. He has also extensively photographed Khmer, Hmong and Mien highland refugee communities as they first arrived in California in the aftemath of the Vietnam War.
